PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform sufficiently refrigerating capability without depending upon operating conditions (environmental conditions) of an adsorption type refrigerating machine. SOLUTION: The adsorption type refrigerating machine can select at least one of a forcibly cooling mode for sucking a refrigerant evaporated by an evaporator 30 by a pump 70 to send the sucked vapor refrigerant directly to a condenser 40, an evaporation assisting mode for sucking the refrigerant evaporated in the evaporator 30 by the pump 70 to send the sucked vapor refrigerant to adsorbers 10 and 21 in an adsorbing step, an a condensation assisting mode for sucking the vapor refrigerant in the adsorbers 10 and 21 in a desorbing step by the pump 70 to discharge the sucked vapor refrigerant toward the condenser 40. Thus, both the adsorbing moisture amount and the desorbing moisture amount can be increased, and refrigerating capability of the refrigerator can be increased.
