<p>The invention concerns a safety device for opening a pressure cooker comprising: stop means (8) rotating the lid (3) relatively to the bowl (1); means relatively locking (10) the lid (3) and the bowl (1) mounted mobile on the appliance, by the action of control means (11); a pressure indicator (30, 30A) mounted freely mobile on the lid (3) for moving between a high sealing position and a low releasing position. The invention is characterised in that the pressure indicator (30, 30A), the control means (11) and the locking means (10) are all part of a single unit assembly (12) mounted on the lid (3) and independent of the pressure cooker handles (5). The invention is applicable to pressure cookers.</p> |
