FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves applying material sample to gingival, counting meutrophils available in oral lavage taken before and after bringing mucous membrane in contact with the material, centrifuging, determining meutrophil emigration level in oral cavity and meutrophil shift index. Neutrophils are counted by staining peroxidase with chromogen solution. Neutrophil shift index is determined from their optical density using formula SHIFT INDEX =(optical lavage density after having treated with the material)/(optical lavage density before having treated with the material). Neutrophil shift index being within 0.75 to 1.5, organism sensitivity to substance under treatment is considered to be normal. ^ EFFECT: accelerated test process. |
