The invention relates to a garage door drive comprising a complex housing (1, 32), which is connected at the top to a drive rail (2) in which a continuous drive means is arranged that is connected to a garage door, guided in lateral runner rails, for the automation thereof. The housing (1, 32) is essentially two-part and consists of a housing lower part (3, 15, 69) and a housing upper part (11, 17, 24, 68), the housing lower part (3, 15, 69) and the housing upper part (11, 17, 24, 68) being joined and being connected at a front end by means of a connecting closure part (61). A lower face (4) of the housing lower part (3, 15, 69) runs essentially parallel to an upper face (13) of the housing upper part (11, 17, 24, 68) and the transitions between the flat upper face (13) and the flat lower face (4) respectively and flat lateral faces (6) are connected by means of radii (5). The closing part (61) covers a functional field (9) and an electronic circuit (63) is arranged behind the closing part (61). The housing (1, 32) is equipped with a lighting device (31, 33). |
