A vehicle interior has assigned to it two heat exchangers with separately selectable temperatures. The temperature in the preferred region of the driver is controlled in a known manner, the front-seat passenger can adjust a higher or lower desired temperature, with respect to the driver side, by means of a selector wheel. For this purpose, in one embodiment the said selector wheel is connected to a distribution valve which correspondingly subdivides the heating-medium flow to the two heat exchangers.
