摘要 The filter material has a warp knitted carrier (3) with a filter layer (2) overlaid so that the warp knit (3) is knitted through from one outer surface (11) to the other (10). At least part of the yarns (5) projecting from both surfaces (10, 11), of the warp knit (3), are of an electrically conductive material. The filter layer (2) is knitted through so that the stitch yarns (5) pass alternately through both outer surfaces (10, 11) as projections of an electrically conductive material. The yarn loops (6) of the stitch yarns (5) lies on one surface (10) of the filter layer (2), and the yarns pass (9) each between two loops (6) to project through the other surface (11) of the filter layer (2). The paths (9) of the yarns (5) pass alternately through at least one neighbouring row of stitches or wale (4). The wefts (8) run on the side of the loops (6) towards the filter layer (2), or on the other side. The standing yarns, or standing wefts can lie on one side of the warp knit or the other side. The diagonal yarns can be laid on either side of the loops of the warp knit, and they are formed by two diagonal yarn systems, each with parallel diagonal yarns.
