PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing highly efficiently an ethylene-based polymer having a high molecular weight regardless of the shape or a rotation number of an agitation blade, especially, a production method of an ethylene-based polymer suited for production of an ultrahigh molecular weight ethylene-based polymer having a viscosity-average molecular weight exceeding one million.SOLUTION: In a production method of an ethylene-based polymer, when performing slurry polymerization or solution polymerization of ethylene or ethylene and α-olefin in the presence of a polymerization catalyst, ethylene or ethylene and α-olefin are supplied into a polymerization solvent during a polymerization reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
