PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength and prevent the movement of a waterproof joint material by projecting out a side end portion in width direction of a laying seam made by forming a projected portion in the middle of a plate with a short-sized narrow width shape, extending the tip to the inner side, and forming a linkage portion having a linking tongue piece formed to a recessed cross-sectional shape along the longitudinal direction almost at the center part. SOLUTION: A middle of a plate with a short-sized narrow width shape is projected out externally thereby forming a projected portion 4a, and a waterproof joint member A is constituted with a laying seam 4 contacting the rear surface of a metal armoring material roll-formed with a color steel plate, an extended portion 5 formed by bending the bottom side of the laying seam 4 to the rear surface side, and a flashing portion 6 formed by bending the top side of the laying seam 4 to the surface side. Here, both the side edges of the laying seam 4 are folded to the surface side, and the linkage portion 7 is formed with a lengthened portion 8 projected out to the inner side from the tip of the side edges and a linking tongue piece 9 projected out close to almost the center. And the linking tongue piece 9 of the linkage portion 7 is fitted and linked to coupling pieces provided at both the side edges of a decorative surface of the metal armoring material.
