PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compaction pile formation method capable of precisely grasping a compaction state or the strength of a pile and forming the pile having required strength based on the result. SOLUTION: In the compaction pile formation method forming the pile of grained powder in the ground by alternately repeating a pulling process for pulling a casing pipe while exhausting the grained powder and a compacting process for compacting the grained powder exhausted by again penetrating the casing pipe after an initial penetration process penetrating the casing pipe into a predetermined depth in the ground, the casing pipe is pushed downward, the casing pipe is rotated to compact the pile of the grained powder in the compacting process, and the compaction has completed of when a compacting force F making pressure pressing the pile of grained powder by the casing pipe and torque rotating to the pile of grained powder by the casing pipe as an element reaches a predetermined set point F<SB>0</SB>.
