<p>An improved overcap for aerosol containers, or those of a similar type, where dispensing is controlled at the top of the container by a finger-operated spray valve. This overcap comprises, in part, a resilient inner shell portion encloseable over the spray valve, and which snaps or otherwise locks together with the container. Strategically placed, radially aligned webs or struts connect the inner shell to the surrounding outer shell, and translate deforming force to the inner shell to release the overcap responsive to applying pressure strategically to the outer shell. This overcap provides an effective deterrent to the operation of aerosol containers by small children.</p> |
