PURPOSE:To prevent sending out sliver uselessly when knotting the cut part of the spun thread being cut during the winding to the package, by indicating the unsuccessful connection when the knotting of thread was not completed in one operation. CONSTITUTION:When the thread is cut spontaneously, failure signal indication board 20 is only projected out to pass the knotting carriage 9 through this cut position, and make it run at constant speed. In case the large section thread (slab) is cut, the knotting carriage 9 is made to stop to this cut place, make lever 31 swing by pressing in the rod 32 making upper part of the indication board project out from the cover 21, and indicates the failure. When knotting of the threads succeeded under this condition, indication board 20 is pulled into the cover 21; on the other hand, when the knotting of thread is not succeeded, the knotting carriage 9 is made to run to the next position keeping the indication board 20 as projected, and allows to manually remove the cause of inability of knotting the thread, and thus prevent the useless sent out of the silver. |
