PURPOSE:To eliminate surely paper powder at the tip of a blade by driving a blade release solenoid when the counted value of a counter which counts the number of copies reaches a prescribed value and a main motor for drum rotation is stopped. CONSTITUTION:Though a cleaning blade 9 is driven when the number of copies reaches a prescribed value, driving of this blade 9 is determined on condition that the counted value of fed papers exceeds a prescribed value and the main motor for drum rotation is turned off; and when a cleaning solenoid is turned off during turning-off of the main motor to move the blade 9 in the direction of an arrow C, the tip of the blade is rubbed with a paper powder eliminating mylar 11 to eliminate paper powder stuck to the tip part of the blade. Thus, paper powder at the tip of the blade is eliminated surely to obtain high-quality copies. |
