PURPOSE:To reduce the shock of speed change under matching the control to the present condition of operation correctly by a method wherein the pressure of operating oil of friction element is controlled so that the input rotating number of the automatic speed change gear under changing speed is increased or decreased along estimated objective changing tendency. CONSTITUTION:The rotating numbers of input and output shafts of the speed change gear are detected by an input rotation detecting counter circuit 14 and an output rotation detecting counter circuit 15 and are outputted there as input and output rotating numbers Ni, No. An objective input rotating number operator 16 operates an objective input rotating number Na upon finishing speed change by multiplying a gear ratio after speed change by the output rotating number No and the changing tendency of the input rotating number during changing speed is obtained from a difference between the objective input rotating number Na and the input rotating number Ni and a time requested for the speed change. The objective input rotating number Na is inputted into a comparator 17 together with the input rotating number Ni from the counter circuit 14 while the comparator 17 outputs a friction element operating oil pressure correcting signal Sp based on the difference between both inputs thereof to control the pressure of operating oil for the friction elements 3a, 3b, 3n. |
