Method for the manufacture of forming tools, characterised in that at least one resin and its curing agent (hardener) are mixed, in that to this mixture is added a siliceous powdery filler, the ratio by weight of the resin and its curing agent (hardener) to the filler being determined so that, during a mixing operation whose duration is a function of the temperature, the resin is free of macromolecules, but it wets the filler particles and fills the interstices separating the said particles without creating matted material (mats) sagging between them.
