Samples of epoxy resins must be removed from the vacuum tank for testing during the mfg. process. The wall of the vacuum tank is penetrated by two adjacent tubes whose inner cavities are joined at a point submerged in the sample fluid; the second tube may be opened to admit a sample using a valve remotely-controlled from outside the tank; the end of the first tube outside the tank admits a cleansing agent and a transporting medium; the first tube is joined outside the tank to another tube which connects it via a valve with the tank interior; and a connector is located at the outer end of the second tube to a valve leading to a sample drainage tube. USE/ADVANTAGE - The arrangement facilitates the removal of fluid samples such as epoxy resin from vacuum tanks or vessels, without downgrading the vacuum.
