PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding excellent in heat resistance, ease for winding as an electric apparatus coil, and a coil space factor characteristic by forming a self-lubricating enamel coating layer on the upper surface of a inorganic insulating layer formed on a conductor. SOLUTION: It is preferable that an inorganic insulating layer is formed from a polycarbosilane resin, a silicone resin and inorganic filler powder, and a self-lubricating enamel coating layer is a self-lubricating polyamide resin layer. This winding is provided with a nickel plated layer 2, the inorganic insulating layer 3 and the self-lubricating enamel coating layer 4 on a copper conductor 1 in that order. When a self-lubricating property is imparted to a general-purpose enameled wire paint, a minute quantity of polyolefin, fatty acid ester, wax, fluorine resin fine powder, or a silicone resin is mixed. The inorganic winding has a surface friction factor lower than that of the self- lubricating enamel coating layer, thereby allows the thickness of the self- lubricating enamel coating layer to be reduced, and exerts remarkable ease for winding as a coil and a high coil space factor characteristic without increasing its outside diameter.
