PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type vehicle air conditioner able to prevent the windows from fogging with easy control. SOLUTION: An area in which a low pressure (evaporator outlet pressure) of 2.0 to 1.8 kg/cm2 is set beforehand as a dehumidifying area. An intake door is controlled so as to switch according to the temperature of the evaporator intake air in order to control the low pressure within that dehumidifying area. With a system having a heater core, it is possible to control the ON/OFF of the compressor instead of controlling the switching of the intake door. This ON/OFF control of the compressor is performed when the temperature inside the cabin is 25 deg.C or above.
