PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wood plastic which can widely be used similarly to ordinary resin raw materials, by mixing different kinds of resins with a lignin component-containing substance and then applying a prescribed processing to the mixture. SOLUTION: This wood plastic is obtained by subjecting a mixture of (A) at least two different kinds of resins 12, 14 (for example, the wastes of a resin such as a polyurethane, a resin mixture such as shredder dust) with (B) a lignin component-containing substance (for example, bamboo scraps) 16 to a high temperature high pressure treatment. Thereby, steam is generated from the component B 16, and lignin 18 is extracted from the component B 16 by the action of the steam. The extracted lignin acts as a solubilizing agent to solubilize the components A 12, 14 each other. Thus, the wood plastic which has a strong bonding force by the synergistic action of both the chemical and physical bonding forces and can exhibit an excellent quality due to the good physical values can easily be provided.
