PURPOSE: A trunk line auditing function performing method of an exchanger is provided to easily, quickly and accurately recognize a spot problem and obtain operator's reliability to a system by periodically performing a trunk line auditing function to restore a trunk line and reporting an auditing state report message to an operator terminal. CONSTITUTION: An operator using an operator terminal registers a trunk line audit function for inspecting trunk line data, a CR, a trunk line channel in an MMC instruction word in an CRH(201). The CRH receives a trunk line auditing function performing from an operator terminal, registers the auditing performing function in an auditing registration table, and drives an audit function for every 20ms as registered(202). The CRH calls a library of an SSC to request an audit function for the corresponding resources(203). The SSC checks a range and a state of the corresponding resources for performing the trunk line audit function according to the audit function performing request from the CRH and calls the library of a TCC(204). The TCC determines whether a requested trunk line according to the audit function performing from the SSC is in an idle state or in a busy state(205). If the trunk line is in a busy state, the TCC checks a range of the CR assigned to the trunk line(209). If the range of the CR is normal, it is checked whether an equip number value of the audit-subject trunk line is normal(213). If the EN value of the trunk link of the CR is normal, it is checked whether the current call state registered in the corresponding CR is a defined value(215). If the call state registered in the CR of the corresponding trunk line is a defined value, it is checked whether an initiating time has been registered on the corresponding CR(217). If the initiating time exists in the CR, it is checked whether there exists an ending time(219).
