PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal equipment capable of allowing a user to recognize a state where the equipment itself cannot receive a communi cation service because setting suited to the communication service used actually is not performed correctly. SOLUTION: When it is detected that set information is not set correctly when call connection is started, message information that a prescribed communication service is not available because of the incorrectness of the set information is read from the information content storage means is given to the user.
