STEERING VALVE ASSEMBLY OF POWER STEERING GEAR FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A steering valve assembly for a power steering gear of a vehicle is provided to improve restoring force of a steering wheel and steering, and to cut down expenses by reducing clearance with inserting a C-ring between a spool shaft and a pinion shaft. CONSTITUTION: A steering valve assembly of a power steering gear for a vehicle is composed of a spool shaft(24) assembled with a torsion bar; a pinion shaft(26) assembled with the spool shaft; a valve body combined with the spool shaft and the pinion shaft; a ring groove(32) formed in a spool tooth(30) of the spool shaft; a ring seat groove(36) formed in a pinion tooth of the pinion shaft combined with the spool shaft; and a C-ring(38) inserted to the ring groove of the spool shaft and the ring seat groove of the pinion shaft. Steering stability is improved with reducing clearance by inserting the C-ring between the spool shaft and the pinion shaft.
