PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable battery pack which is superior in portability and can be driven for a long time mainly as an auxiliary battery of a portable electronic device. SOLUTION: The battery pack 1 is equipped with a battery case 3 having a battery housing 3a for housing batteries (not shown in the figure) and a battery housing 3b for housing other batteries (not shown in the figure). The battery housing 3a and the battery housing 3b are supported by a hinge 5 so as to be openable. Additionally, the battery case 3 has a power supply terminal 9 for supplying battery power in the battery case to the electronic device. The power supply terminal 9 is connected to a power supply cable 11 drawn out of a protection circuit (not shown in the figure) which is integrated inside the battery housing part 3a via an outlet port 13.
