<p>PURPOSE:To provide a linear boosting type blood pressure measuring instrument by which the accuracy of blood pressure measurement is sufficiently obtd. by constituting this instrument in such a manner that the noise form an air pump is not included in pulse wave signals. CONSTITUTION:The air discharged from an air pump 19 is forcibly sent through an air tank 18 and a stationary throttling device 16 to a cuff 10 when a boosting measurement mode to linearly boost the cuff 10 is selected at the time of blood pressure measurement and, therefore, a large pulsation is absorbed by this air tank 18 and stationary throttling device 16. On the other hand, the air pump 19 is activated in the state that the prescribed amt. of the compressed air is discharged from a discharge control valve device 14 disposed between the cuff 10 and the throttling device 16 by a cuff pressure control means 56. The rotating speed of the air pump 19 is thereby increased and the pulse wave frequency of the discharge pressure thereof is increased. Since this pulse wave frequency is different from the frequency-component constituting the pulse waves, this frequency is adequately removed by a band-pass filter even if the pulse wave frequency described above is incorporated as the noise into the pressure vibration of the cuff 10.</p> |
