The invention relates to a device and a method for processing, in particular grinding, a workpiece by means of a plurality of tools. In order to enable a compact design and universal processing, tool drives are arranged on a frame in stationary manner and allow both spherical and aspherical processing of the workpiece by means of different tools. The workpiece can be moved in a vertical plane by means of a crossbeam retained on the frame and a carriage guided on the crossbeam and can additionally be pivoted. |
