receiving a short message service message at the communication device, the short message service message having a telephone number associated therewith; detecting an input at the communication device to display the short message service message; and displaying the short message service message on a message viewer of the communication device, the short message service message being displayed chronologically in association with at least one previously sent or previously received short message service message, the at least one previously sent or previously received short message service message each having an associated telephone number that matches the telephone number of the short message service message.
