PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material excellent not only in cushioning properties but also in a cool feeling and body pressure dispersibility, and to provide a mattress made by using the cushioning material.SOLUTION: The cushioning material is obtained by fitting a cold retaining agent in a recess of a fiber structure. The fiber structure is obtained by laminating webs obtained by blending non-elastic crimped staple fibers with heat bondable conjugate staple fibers containing a polymer having a melting point lower than that of a polymer constituting the non-elastic crimped staple fibers by 25°C or more and arranged on its surface as a heat fusible component at a weight ratio of 90/10 to 10/90, in which fixation points at which the heat bondable conjugate staple fibers are mutually thermally fused in a state they are crossed and/or fixation points at which the heat bondable conjugate staple fiber and the non-elastic crimped staple fiber are thermally fused in a state they are crossed are scattered, and the recess is formed at least on a surface thereof. |
