A Filter module comprising a body of wound layers of a sheet material, the body having an inlet and an outlet and a winding axis, the sheet material having a plurality of openings formed therein, the openings forming two types of channels within the wound layers of sheet material of the body, a first type of channels being open at one end at the inlet and closed at the other end located adjacent to the outlet, a second type of channels being open at one end at the outlet and closed at the other end located adjacent to the inlet, the channels of the first type being separated from the channels of the second type by portions of sheet material, and a process for manufacturing a filter module. |
