COMPONENT MOUNTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable a component mounting device to mount components efficiently lessening an adverse effect caused by the dispersion of a sprocket or a carrier tape of a part feeder in size, where the mounting device mounts taped components on a printed board. CONSTITUTION:Component positioning data of each component feed position are recognized and stored by the prescribed number of times by a component feed position recognition camera 14 provided to a mounting head 5, and a component mounter of this design is corrected in suction position at the suction of a component based upon the stored memory concerned, whereby an adverse effect caused by the dispersion of a sprocket or a carrier tape in size can be reduced to an irreducible minimum.
