PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing CNT (carbon nanotube) capable of obtaining a monolayer CNT aggregate which has a high density and is oriented in one direction without requiring post treatment.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing CNT in which the CNT is grown on a substrate carrying a catalyst 9 by a CVD method by decompressing a treatment chamber 2 while flowing a raw material gas of the CNT into the treatment chamber 2. A pressing force is applied in a direction facing the growth direction with respect to the CNT growing on a surface where a catalyst on the substrate carrying the catalyst 9 is carried. |
