PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device that can suppress delay of automatic stop and restart of an engine and can prevent uncomfortable feeling such as shock.SOLUTION: A control device comprises: reduction instruction means (Step S109) for reducing transmission torque capacity of a start clutch when a condition for automatically stopping an engine is achieved; stop means for stopping independent rotation of the engine, after output torque of the engine is reduced by delaying ignition timing in a control process of reducing the transmission torque capacity of the start clutch; rapid opening instruction means for increasing reduction speed of the transmission torque capacity so that the start clutch becomes an open state, when a condition for restarting the engine is achieved before opening of the start clutch; and start delay means for executing control for delaying starting of a starter that is rotated to restart the engine, prior to the increase in the reduction speed of the transmission torque capacity of the start clutch by the rapid opening instruction means. |
