A method and device for recommending a plant variety. The method comprises: determining an environmental parameter of the environment in which a flowerpot is located (S101); and recommending for the flowerpot a plant variety matching the environmental parameter (S102). The solution allows a user to plant in the flowerpot a plant that matches the environment, allows the plant to grow according to the growth habits thereof, and prevents the user from having to purchase frequently plants for same flowerpot, thus reducing economic costs of plant purchases for the user. |
