PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record images to photosensitive heat developable recording materials with a small-sized device of simple constitution. SOLUTION: This device is formed with a transporting path 42 where the photosensitive heat developable recording materials 12 are transported from a housing cassette 24 side of a housing section 24 by a transporting roller pair 28 toward a transporting roller pair 34 (arrow A direction), a transporting path 44 where the photosensitive heat developable recording materials 12 are transported (from the arrow A direction toward an arrow B direction) in an optical recording section 16 and a heat developing section 18 by transporting roller pairs 34 and 36 and a transporting path 46 where the photosensitive heat developable recording materials 12 past the heat developing section 18 are transported (toward the arrow B direction which is a backward direction of transportation) in a fixing section 20 by transporting roller pairs 34, 36 and 40. The photosensitive heat developable recording materials 12 pass the heat developing section 18 from the housing section 14 and arrive at the optical recording section 16 where the materials are subjected to optical recording. The materials are switched back and are developed in the heat developing section 18, are fixed in the optical fixing section 26 and are discharged outside from a discharge section 22. |
