PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device capable of reducing switching loss.SOLUTION: The power supply device includes: an input DC power supply; a transformer which has a primary winding composed of two windings connected in series via a connection point, and a secondary winding; a first semiconductor switch whose first terminal is connected to a positive electrode of the input DC power supply and whose second terminal is connected to the connection point of the primary winding; a second semiconductor switch whose first terminal is connected to one end of the primary winding and whose second terminal is connected to a negative electrode of the input DC power supply; a third semiconductor switch whose first terminal is connected to the other end of the primary winding and whose second terminal is connected to the negative electrode of the input DC power supply; and a switch control unit which performs commutation control to turn on one of the second and third semiconductor switches and to turn off the other, and turns off the first semiconductor switch over a predetermined period including the time when the commutation control is performed. |
