Systems and methods are described herein for managing acquisitions including, but not limited to, executing a first portion of a first acquisition process for acquiring service for a first subscription of a user equipment (UE); obtaining at least one parameter as a result of executing the first portion of the first acquisition process; and executing a second portion of a second acquisition process for acquiring service for a second subscription of the UE using the at least one parameter. The UE may be a multi-sim. When both SIMs are associated to the same RAT and/or PLMN, by using the parameter(s) acquired for the first subscription, the time of acquisition of the second subscription (e.g., on power up) becomes shorter. The parameter(s) may include a PSC, SSC, system information, frequency, frame timing and cell selection in WCDMA networks. |
