PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction apparatus for predicting a power generation amount of a photovoltaic power generator.SOLUTION: A prediction apparatus for predicting a power generation amount of a photovoltaic power generator comprises: a relation calculation unit that performs a regression analysis on the basis of actual values of power generation amounts of the photovoltaic power generator and solar radiation amounts at an installation position of the photovoltaic power generator and a plurality of locations surrounding the installation position at a plurality of past dates, and calculates data showing relation between a solar radiation amount and a power generation amount of the photovoltaic power generator with respect to each of the plurality of locations; and a power generation amount prediction unit that calculates, on the basis of prediction values of solar radiation amounts at the plurality of locations at a prediction target date and the data showing relation between the solar radiation amount and the power generation amount of the photovoltaic power generator, an estimation value of a power generation amount of the photovoltaic power generator converted from a predicted value of a solar radiation amount with respect to each of a plurality of locations within a range in which correlation between a solar radiation amount and a power generation amount of the photovoltaic power generator is recognized, and determines a value on the average of estimation values to be a prediction value of the power generation amount of the photovoltaic power generator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
