Provided are a unit and a cartridge detachably attached to an image formation device, which facilitate easy and accurate arrangement of a securing component for a sheet material thereon, and are capable of preventing a developer from leaking therefrom. A method for manufacturing the unit and the cartridge is also provided. A cleaning unit 2a comprises: a frame 24 having a waste toner chamber 30 for storing a developer removed from the surface of an image carrier 21; an end sealing material 26a provided on the frame 24 and kept in contact with the image carrier 21; a scooping sheet 15 having one end thereof arranged on the end sealing material 26a and preventing the developer in the waste toner chamber 30 from leaking out between the frame 24 and the image carrier 21; and an injection-molded resin component 10 which is in the frame 24 and secures the scooping sheet 15 to the frame. The resin configuring the resin component 10 is arranged to enter the end sealing material 26a in order to integrate the end sealing material 26a with the resin component 10.
