PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering support member structure which achieves reduction of weight of a steering support member, while suppressing deflective displacement magnitude of the steering support member.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a steering support member structure in which a steering support member body 7 supporting a steering column 5 is provided at a front part of a vehicle cabin so as to be oriented in a vehicle width direction 2. The steering support member body 7 has a length which extends from a driver seat side of the vehicle cabin to a boundary part 11 between an intermediate part and a front passenger seat side in the vehicle width direction 2. A boundary part 11 side end part of the steering support member body 7 is supported by a floor panel 14 of the vehicle cabin by means of a stay 12 extending downward and by a front wall panel 16 of the vehicle cabin by means of an end part post bracket 15 extending to a vehicle front side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
