PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which it is not possible to figure out the power consumption of an apparatus that does not have a function to connect to a network or does not conform ECHONET Lite standard and to display it.SOLUTION: An information processing system comprises: information relay means for transmitting, through a general-purpose communication line, information on the power consumption of an apparatus transmitted by the apparatus by infrared communication; and information processing means for receiving the information, calculating the amount of power consumption from the information, and transmitting information including the amount of power consumption to a display unit through the general-purpose communication line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
