A wet electric dust-removal apparatus with flowed-past transverse electrode plates and an electric dust-removal method used for collecting and removing a plurality of contaminants such as particulates, SO3 and Hg are provided, wherein the wet electric dust-removal apparatus with flowed-past transverse electrode plates comprises a casing (1), in which an atomized water spray system (6) and a plurality of dust-removal units are provided; the atomized water spray system (6) comprises an atomized water spray pipeline and evenly spaced tapered nozzles; and the dust-removal unit comprises multiple rows of anode plates (4) and multiple rows of cathode wires (5), wherein the anode plates (4) are perpendicular to the flowing direction of a flue gas. A dust-containing flue gas (9) passes through the gaps between the anode plates (4) in the same row and then flows past them, which reduces scouring of a water film on the surface of the anode plates (4), and avoids the phenomena of local dry spots and back corona. The method is operationally reliable, and improves the contaminant collecting efficiency of the wet electric dust remover and the system stability. |
