The present invention relates to a break-in prevention for obstructing an attempt, by means of sliding a shimmying member such as a flexible sheet material into a lock of a bolt, such as a latch bolt, slidable into a closing opening, such as in a closing plate or closing cavity, to open a lock of a movable closing element in the form of a door or window arranged in a wall or frame in the wall, wherein the closing element is arranged in a closed state against an edge, the break-in prevention comprising : - a mounting element for mounting thereof on the frame or the closing element, wherein the closing element is arranged in a closed position in the frame, and - a retaining element for preventing the shimmying member being able to reach the bolt; - wherein at least the retaining element is coupled to the mounting element such that the retaining element functions at the position of the closing opening for the bolt for the purpose of obstructing sliding of the bolt into the lock. |
