<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot that can more suppress interference with a cable or the like and with a peripheral device. <P>SOLUTION: The robot includes a body bottom part 24 connected to arms 2 to 4 located on a base 1 to rotate around a first axis, a passage port 25 disposed in the body bottom part 24 on the extension line of the first axis to enable insertion of a cable, a first extended part 22 extending from the body bottom part 24 along the extension of the first axis, a second extended part 23 spaced from the first extended part 22 in parallel, a swing member 7 attached to the tip side of at least the first extended part 22 and the second extended part 23 to swing around a second axis orthogonal to the first axis, a motor 51 supported by the body bottom part 24 in a position offset from the extension of the first axis to swing the swing body around the second axis, and a rotor 8 that is supported by the swing member 7 to rotate around a third axis orthogonal to the second axis and can hold an end effector to which the cable is connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
