PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, comprising an MEMS shutter, which has superior display quality by suppressing formation of an air bubble and unevenness of a cell gap due to expansion and contraction of a liquid charged between a first substrate and a second substrate, and also has superior strength against externally received force.SOLUTION: A display device 10 comprises: a plurality of first spacers 410 which are provided between a first substrate 100 and a second substrate 200, and extend in a direction perpendicular to the substrates and define an inter-substrate distance between the first substrate 100 and second substrate 200; a plurality of second spacers 420 which are provided between the first substrate 100 and second substrate 200, and extend in a direction perpendicular to the substrates, a height in the direction perpendicular to the substrates being shorter than the first spacers 410; and a liquid charged in a space formed between the first substrate 100 and second substrate 200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
