PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maximum output current estimation device which can estimate the maximum output current of a secondary cell with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A differential voltage ΔV is measured, and an inclination r of a linear line L is found by this differential voltage ΔV and a differential current ΔI. This method makes it possible to reduce an error in the inclination r, as compared with a method in which the inclination of a linear line is found by linking two independently measured points. Although it is necessary to find the coordinates of a point M in order to determine the linear line L, i.e., it is necessary to measure a voltage V0 between both electrodes of a secondary cell B, but one session of this measurement can suffice, and it is possible to estimate a maximum output current Im with high accuracy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
