<p>PURPOSE:To control the supply of the power unit of a computer connected to an ISDN network from a remote place by providing a means controlling the data ring protocol of ISDN, and supplying the power unit of the computer when an information frame from an opposite computer is received. CONSTITUTION:A control program is stored in ROM 12 and the computer 20a is programmed in such a way that the retry of SARME (set asynchronous response mode extended) is attained. An automatic power unit controller 20a turns on its own power unit and establishes a data linked by SABME and UA (unnumbered acknowledge). When it is recognized that the information frame is received through an information frame DSU 30a from the opposite computer 20b, CPU 11 sets an opening/closing control signal line 15 to an on- state as against an I/O control part 14 in accordance with the program stored in ROM 12. Thus, a power opening/closing disk 21 is turned on, and the power unit 22 of the computer 20a is automatically supplied.</p> |
