PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output information by an output pattern more suitable for the current situation of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An information output device 10 for a vehicle includes: an output policy data storage part 60 for storing output policy data regulating the output policy of an application in association with a situation; a current situation specification part 31 for specifying the current situation of a vehicle; an output policy extraction part 32 for extracting the output policy corresponding to the current situation of the vehicle from the output policy data; an output pattern specification part 33 for, when receiving an output request from the application, specifying an output pattern which can be output by the extracted output policy from among a plurality of output patterns requested by the application; and an information output part 51 for outputting information generated by the application which has made the output request by the specified output pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
