According to the present invention, a transmission (1) having two motors, four gears, and four shafts applied to an electric vehicle comprises: a common input shaft (20) wherein first and second motor input shafts (20-1, 20-2) respectively connected to first and second motors (10-1, 10-2) having first and third gears and second and fourth input gears (21, 23) form a concentric axis; first and third output gears (31, 41) engaged with the first and third input gear (21); first and second shift shafts (30, 40) having fourth and second output gears (33, 43) engaged with the second and fourth input gear (23); and an output shaft (50) having an output intergear (50A) engaged with the second and third step intergear (40A) directly connected to the first and fourth step intergear (30A) and generating an output. A four shaft configuration wherein two, the first and second motors (10-1, 10-2), are connected to one common input shaft (20) is advantage for a transmission package. Through the communization between the first and third input gear (21) and the first and third output gears (31, 41) and between the second and fourth input gear (23) and the fourth and second output gears (33, 43), a number of shafts and gears are reduced in comparison with existing five shafts, thereby being advantage for the weight and costs of the transmission. |
