FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of synthetic isoprene rubber. Described is a method of producing synthetic polyisoprene isoprene polymerization catalyst. Catalyst is obtained by mixing hydrocarbon solutions of titanium tetrachloride and complex triisobutylaluminum with diphenyloxide at temperature minus 70 - plus 10°C. Molar ratio of titanium tetrachloride triisobutylaluminum and triisobutylaluminum: diphenyl oxide equal to 1.0:[0.8-1.2] and 1.0:[0.1-1.0] respectively. Hydrocarbon solvent for components of catalyst used is a fraction C-hydrocarbons containing pentenes not less than 50% or mixture thereof with toluene.
