PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve a liquid-phase oxidation reaction technique.SOLUTION: Disclosed are processes and apparatuses for vertical splitting of the oxygen supply to a post-oxidation reactor. Further disclosed are processes and apparatuses for supplying a reaction medium to the post-oxidation reactor from a mid-level inlet. Such apparatuses and processes can assist in reducing oxygen deficiency throughout the post-oxidation reactor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
