PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accuracy of dimension of an air element having an air permeability reinforcement plate to be easily improved.SOLUTION: An outer circumferential edge of a filter medium 41 is formed with a seal part in such a way that an outer circumferential edge of a reinforcement plate 43 is covered by the seal part under a state in which the air permeability reinforcement plate 43 is abutted against an end surface 411 at a downstream side of the filter medium 41 to manufacture an air element. The seal part is formed under application of a molding die 50 including a fixed die 51 having an annular upper surface 511 formed with a recess groove 512 corresponding to a shape of the seal part and a movable die 52 arranged to be openable or closable between a die closing position where it is abutted against the upper surface 511 of the fixed die 51 and a releasing position spaced apart from the upper surface 511 and capable of holding the filter medium 41 from an outer circumferential side. When the reinforcement plate 43 is installed at the upper surface 511 of the fixed die 51, a salient 45 arranged at the reinforcement plate 43 is engaged with an inner circumferential edge of the upper surface 511 of the fixed die 51 to determine a position of the reinforcement plate 43 against the fixed die 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
