A cell switching method and device. The method comprises: receiving a switching request by a base station; and returning, by the base station, switching information of a target cell requested to change to and/or a list of recommended target cell identifiers according to a changing condition of a target cell requested by the switching request. The cell switching method and device disclosed by the present invention improve a success rate of cell switching, and in particular a success rate of cell switching when a cell covering range changes. |
